Dani Nicholas brings a passion for experiential learning, environmental stewardship, and holistic well-being to her work at Riley. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Health Arts and Sciences and a master’s degree in Urban Environmental Education, where she focused on the cultural significance of earth justice. She has also completed a year-long herbalism program.

Dani’s professional mission is to help people pursue healthier, happier lives in accessible and natural ways by drawing upon the resources already present in our kitchens, environments, communities, traditions, and ancestry. At Riley, she collaborates with Maria and the wider faculty to create thoughtful, hands-on learning experiences in Farm & Garden, with an emphasis on food systems, health, and sustainability.
