‘26-27 TUITION

Riley School endeavors to keep our tuition cost as accessible to as many families as possible in our surrounding community. Tuition for the 2026-2027 school year is as follows:

EARLY CHILDHOOD PROGRAM

Full-Time Preschool (ages 2-3): $10,850

Full-Time Pre-Kindergarten (ages 4+): $11,725

**Families at or below 85% of the Maine median income may qualify for low- or no-cost childcare through the Child Care Affordability Program. This allows parents to select a participating child care provider at a reduced cost, or for free. Click here for the income eligibility requirements.

LOWER, MIDDLE, AND UPPER SCHOOL TUITION

Ages 5-14 (K-8): $15,825

School hours for all children are Monday-Friday 8:45am-3:30pm, with after-school care until 5:30pm.

PAYMENT plan OPTIONS

All families submit a 5% enrollment deposit at the time of their child’s enrollment, which is deducted from the total tuition owed.

Full Payment Play: Balance (total tuition minus deposit) due July 1st

4 Installments: July 1st, September 1st, November 1st, and January 1st

10 Monthly Installments: July 1st - April 1st

We offer a $500 discount to families that pre-pay full tuition before July 1st.

VARIABLE TUITION PROGRAM

We want children of all socioeconomic backgrounds to have access to a Riley education and are dedicated to working with families to find any available solution to address financial barriers.

Families can choose to take advantage of our variable tuition program. Rather than adhering to a traditional fixed tuition rate, variable tuition allows families to pay tuition based on their ability to contribute, taking into consideration factors such as income, family size, and extenuating financial circumstances.

In an effort to make the process equitable and transparent, Riley uses School & Student Services (SSS) to process requests. Using this platform allows a seamless connection to tax documentation. Once a family submits their application, SSS uses an algorithm to determine what that family should be able to contribute toward their child(ren)’s tuition. That information is shared with Riley and our Variable Tuition Committee then determines awards.

Please note that Variable Tuition is not available for our Preschool (Magnolias) program and is limited to $1,500 for our Pre-K (Junipers) program. There are no restrictions for grades K-8.
