Michelle is a Maine native with a deep love for living near the coast. She attended University of Southern Maine where she received a bachelors degree in Theatre in 2007. From there, Michelle stitched together the moments until the day progressive education crossed her path and she obtained certification in Waldorf education at Antioch New England in 2011. Michelle then went on to teach a combined class of children for four years in a Waldorf school. There she taught a wide curriculum including art, music, drama, language arts, math and local history and geography as well as focusing on social-emotional wellness. Michelle lives with her two daughters and six(!) cats. She enjoys driving around exploring while listening to audiobooks, napping, painting birds, collecting sea glass and roller skating when she gets the chance.
