Anti-Discrimination Policy

The Riley School is approved at the pre-school and elementary level by the State Department of Education and Cultural Services of Maine and is fully accredited by the NEASC (New England Association of Schools and Colleges).

Riley School does not discriminate on the basis of race, religion, gender, sexual orientation, gender identity, disability, sex, ethnic background, national origin, or other legally-protected class in the admission of students, in financial aid grants, or in any program or employment offered.

The Riley School will not ignore bullying, harassment, discrimination, or microaggressions. If any child or family experiences any of these while participating in a Riley program or event, we encourage the person to inform the Head of School at director@rileyschool.org so appropriate action can be taken. If, at any time, further review is needed the person should contact the Riley School Board of Trustees at riley.board@rileyschool.org.
