Lindsay has a BFA in Sculpture from the Rhode Island School of Design, and a Master’s of Science in Education from the University of Pennsylvania. She brings to Riley her years of training and experience in the visual arts, dance, music, theater, and working with people. Having roamed about working on the west coast and in Latin America after college, she started a family in the Dominican Republic, and happily returned home to midcoast Maine about six years ago. A Riley alumna herself (class of 1991), she is a living testament to arts-integrated education, and in fact can still recite many of her lines as Juliet in the school’s annual Shakespeare production back in 1989. Off campus - when not knitting, hula-hooping or digging in the garden - she can usually be found cooking up some kind of artistic, musical or theatrical project together with her three bilingual/bicultural children.
